The Sensor Management Unit consists of a rack mounted package with interface for up to six (6) Kinematic Camera Modules and one GPS/IMU subsystem (user specified; not included with SMU). Multiple SMUs can be added together to share a single GPS/IMU/timing subsystem with an arbitrary number of imaging devices. Each camera data stream incorporates geo-metadata from the GPS/IMU.
Features
The Sensor Management Unit controls all imaging modules and spatial sensors, and provides timing control and distribution of exterior orientation data.
